You would want to wait until the alcohol is out of your system prior to beginning drug course. The biggest caution is during and three days after due to the drug having a half life of 8 hours for one dose.

In general, symptoms of alcohol withdrawal peak within a 24-72 hour time frame and resolve within 4-5 days. 4 In some cases, less intense symptoms of anxiety can linger following withdrawal. 4 Persisting anxiety beyond the detox may be a potential indicator of an anxiety disorder. When alcohol harms the liver, the organ tries to heal itself. In most cases, it can recover from a night of binge drinking or sporadic alcohol consumption. However, chronic alcohol use disrupts the healing process. The disruption causes swelling (hepatitis) and the development of scar tissue (cirrhosis).
