Closed-minded employers can also make a person’s stay at the job short… or stop them in their tracks. The Aspie tells their employer about their autism to request the accommodations that they need to function. In most cases, the Aspie is fired upon revealing their diagnosis. It does sound like a personal attack because the worker has autism.
