The current formula is Stun chance [%] = 200 * (Damage/Defender's effective max life). Changing 200 to 133,3, for example, would make stun chance on players begin at 20% for hits taking 15% of max life to 100% stun chance for hits taking 75% of max life or more.

Lvl 6 ball lightning does good enough damage (can kill packs in T12). It helps when you get stunned and can't leech from self-cast. The ball has more chance to blind, will knockback enemies thanks to proj weakness, leech, and finish off the enemies with 10% or less of their life thanks to culling strike.

You can also get stun avoidance on a shield. In the spirit of talking about immunities, I've got (almost) immunity to cold hits and immunity to enemy aggro. Immunity to cold hits: Aquamarine Flask (20%) + Hopeshredder (2% per frenzy charge) + Shield with Deafening Essence of Suffering (10%) + Chest with Deafening Essence of Suffering (10%).

Currently the way the player gets stunned in PoE is one of the most bizarre, archaic and non-intuitive ways i've ever seen. Not only does it not make combat responsive and reactive, but creates endless frustration. EVERYTHING that hits can stun you. ANY mob that hits can stun you. It doesn't matter what type of damage it is.
